A convoluted Quote-to-Cash process involving multiple teams in creating, approving, and sending quotes, as well as managing subscriptions, can cause unnecessary delays, which in turn might lead to lost deals.

Chargebee's HubSpot Q2C integration simplifies this by allowing sales reps to create quotes and subscriptions directly from a pre-synced Chargebee product catalog within HubSpot. They can choose between automatic checkout links triggered by workflows or manually adding deal line items for customized quotes, eliminating the need for involvement from finance or operations teams. This ensures that only approved plans and prices are used, preventing unauthorized discounts. Customer success teams can also upsell higher plans or add-ons directly within HubSpot using the new subscription amendments functionality. This makes HubSpot the centralized platform and a single source of truth for all your GTM teams, promoting a more efficient sales cycle from quote to cash.

In-HubSpot Subscription Management

Create subscriptions directly within HubSpot for confirmed sales, eliminating the need to log in to Chargebee and follow up with multiple teams. Depending on your pricing models, discount types, and payment methods, there are three ways to create subscriptions in Chargebee from HubSpot.

A. Automatic Subscription Creation

Ideal for products with straightforward pricing and without complex discounts, leverage Chargebee's automation trigger dropdown list to automatically create subscriptions upon payment confirmation. You can take it a step further and set up workflow automation that creates a subscription for a customer in Chargebee when a deal is marked “closed won”

B. Automated Checkout Links for One-Time Charges

Using Chargebee's automation triggers, create a checkout link for non-recurring items like onboarding or setup fees. Once payment is completed, a subscription is created, and the information is updated in the deal history. Enhance this further by automatically triggering an email with a payment link when the deal is marked "closed-won."

C. iFrame Method for Complex Scenarios

Create subscriptions for products with metered billing, complex discounts, and specific contract terms with an iFrame embedded in the HubSpot deal page that lets you select the plan, currency, and billing frequency from your Chargebee catalogue easily. Generate checkout links to customers and collect payments.

Subscription Amendments

Enable your customer success teams to adjust subscription plans directly within HubSpot. Use Chargebee's automation triggers for automatic updates or manually via the iframe method. This includes upgrades, downgrades, feature changes, and billing cycle adjustments, reducing turnaround time and swiftly addressing customer preferences independently.

Great support but clunky and time consuming

Would not recommend it unless you have significant complexity (10 invoices a month).
