HubSpot and Celigo

Celigo is fine. It does what it needs to do. However, HubSpot doesn't allow custom fields on activities nor allows you to push an external ID from HubSpot to Salesforce, because of that there is no way to configure Celigo to find the correct record in HubSpot match to record in Salesforce to update. Unfortunately, our teams are using HubSpot sales but our stakeholders/leadership want to see all activity details in Salesforce. This is what happens when everyone is sold on a product but wants the data to reside in a common location (Salesforce). We know HubSpot will push for reporting in HubSpot but all our reporting for leadership is in Salesforce....I don't see them going into HubSpot for disparate reporting, they want it all in one place. So we will probably end up mass exporting activity data and manually updating Salesforce until we can get a better solution. We calculate commissions off activity of our BDRs. The Commission software is integrated with Salesforce....so another reason that data needs to migrate there.

To get data to flow between Salesforce and HubSpot is easy for other tables (contacts or companies). The pre-built connector in integration.io is super helpful.

Que n'aimez-vous pas ?

Product limitations on syncing activity data in HubSpot to activity data in Salesforce is not possible. Need that data for leadership reporting which all happens in Salesforce and for commission calculations which that software is integrated with Salesforce.
