Stop relying on gut instinct, pundits and guesswork with your email marketing channel's results. Easily run A/B, 3 or even 5-way multivariate tests in your HubSpot workflows using the Seventh Sense split test automation workflow action.

Testing is an important part of optimizing your marketing campaigns, but until now, testing capabilities in HubSpot workflows have been limited. We built the split test automation workflow action to scratch our own itch, and to solve a common problem among HubSpot users.

What makes split test automation so powerful is its simplicity. At any point in your workflow where you want to test a variation, simply insert a split test automation action, a value equals branch based on the split test automation cohorts, and add your variation(s). Run your test as long, or as short as you want. When you’re satisfied with the outcome, YOU pick the winner. What will you test first?

Note: Split test automation intentionally uses true randomization to get you the most accurate result (think coin flip vs dealing cards). This means it may sometimes put two contacts down one branch in a row, but over time, your random cohorts will end up similar in size.

Analyze your results to help drive better decisions

Tired of inconclusive results or only being able to test two versions / elements within your email(s)? Real A/B/etc. testing is hard, however, it doesn't have to be.

Test up to five elements in workflows with anything (really anything!)

Test things like send times, preview text, content, subject lines, HTML vs. plain text, delays between emails, number of emails sent in a nurture stream / automated campaign, email from name, CTA positioning or color, email frequency, Seventh Sense's email health tool, etc. Really anything!
