It's a lovely theme, but sadly, there is NO support

Since I can't get support to resolve a bug, it's basically useless to me. I've reached out via email multiple times over a span of over a week and even booked a meeting through their website, which nobody showed up for.

Some parts are very easy to use, but the video homepage doesn't seem to support using the main header and footer. The Keypoints module also displays incorrectly.

I recently used this template, and it’s one of the few I found that allowed me to fully customize our landing page to perfectly match our brand. The level of customization is exceptional, and the support team provided fast and helpful responses. Other templates didn’t come close to aligning with our style and branding needs. Highly recommend!

This theme is not only visually stunning but also incredibly user-friendly for non-techies. I encountered a minor mobile site issue, and Olia and her team responded within hours. Her ongoing communication and exceptional customer service are what I aspire to emulate in my startup. Simply nice to be able to communicate with a decision maker and human.

I thought compared to others, one of the best, attention to detail and logic are beyond many other themes I tried. The fact that its free is wild and I can only imagine what they can offer through their custom services.

Great theme and even better support

I've been using this theme for over a year now. It's upleveled our branding online and is super easy to customize and roll out. About a month ago I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to accomplish something - a tool tip upon hovering text - so I reached out to Absolut's support and got an immediate response. Within a week they had built that module for us! Amazing!

The person videos, which originally drew me in, are really designed just for people talking. The way they zoom and center content, you'll still need to use the standard HubSpot Video module for product demos and other types of marketing video content.

An absolut(e) gem!

Absolut is the first theme to apply great design aesthetics by far. We value UX and the smallest design details and have gone through many themes over the years (paid included), hoping for something better. Well, here it is, and FREE! Don't walk; run to the theme marketplace and get this theme.

The best free HS theme

Absolut is by far and large the BEST introductory theme for anyone using CMS Hub. It's not a "trial" in the same way other developers do to upsell you $1000 pro versions, it's a fully-fledged (albeit minimal—which is a plus in my view) theme that covers all the essentials and slightly more. Incredibly, I learned about the Lottie animation format through the Absolut theme and am now fully-sold on the concept thanks to the careful design from the team at Kohorta. With their work as a baseline, I was able to get everything customized to our brand on my own, and am foreseeing working with the team (their schedule permitting) on advanced modules once the website has had its first 3 to 6 months of life. Customization is good. Since it's a minimal theme, you have to stick to most of its design language, although corners, colors, fonts, and header style can all be customized out of the box. I did find this part fairly restraining due to our mature branding process (this is our 3rd iteration at Datavid) so I spun up a child theme and customized some modules, sections, and templates myself where needed.

The best thing about Absolut is that it teaches you how to do things well on the HubSpot CMS and in general with web design. The fact that it's free is good, but it's not its best feature at all. Many themes are free on the HubSpot marketplace; this one goes above and beyond to stay consistent in its rules, design language, performance optimizations—everything pretty much. The fact that it's free is nothing short of a miracle :) And it's why I am planning to work with the team at Kohorta in the future since they clearly know what they're doing and it'll help us tremendously.

The only slight disadvantage is that it's not very well-optimized for tablet screens out of the box, leading to narrow content on screen sizes between 768px and 1024px. A little bit of CSS knowledge fixes that fairly easily, so it's not a con necessarily for me but I see why it'd be a problem for non-technical marketers.
