I HATE WRITING REVIEWS SO I DON'T - brace for a rant.

I’m not technical, and before finding Sprocket Rocket (SR) I had already paid for two HubSpot template providers. In my experience, many providers feel like side projects/hustles, or a sales funnel pushing you into more expensive development support once you hit the wall they know you eventually will. Sprocket Rocket feels completely different. This is clearly their service. The big difference with SP has been their customer support. Over the years, I’ve probably contacted them around 10+ times for help and advice. Whenever I’ve got stuck, their team has responded quickly (within 2 hours), clearly, and without making me feel like an idiot. The majority of the time I contacted them resulted in them needing to explain how to use HubSpot itself, rather than an issue with their templates. A friend of mine went with another highly reviewed HubSpot template provider against my advice. They had more designs included, but in my view many of them looked identical. He regrets it because it takes 2-3 days to get back to him. For me, when you’re building something that represents your business, taking you away from the day job - it’s whether the company behind you cares enough to help when it matters. Sprocket Rocket does. Cant rate rate them enough.

I love their designs and how easy they are to use. And now that HubSpot has Breeze AI, it can understand explain how to do stuff and even change Sprocket Rocket’s open code. It means we can solve more things ourselves without always needing to go back to the Sprocket Rocket team. Even though they’re so (nearly painfully) helpful and professional that they’d never make you feel bad for asking.

Ive spent less than £350 with SR in two years. Ive just checked my emails and i've received 26 direct emails direct support messages from tickets i've raised. I cant think of a single organisation giving me that level of support with absolutely zero upsell. Ive not received a single email, in 2 years, from them asking to pay for bespoke design work.

Big one - their service is so good it makes you look at your own business and wonder whether your team could be doing more. Its unacceptable, I didn’t pay for nor request that level of personal reflection.

Honestly, I cannot recommend Sprocket Rocket Core enough. This version had absolutely everything we required to get the solid groundwork of our website sorted. It wasn’t bloated; it just gave us exactly what we needed to build a proper base. I also have to mention the documentation—it is fantastic. It’s incredibly extensive and has served as a real knowledge base for the team whenever we’ve had a query. If you are looking for a reliable HubSpot theme to get you started, this is spot on.

Customising the theme to match our brand was incredibly straightforward.

Great Support and Easy To Use

Have been working with Sprocket Rocket as our primary HubSpot theme since 2020 and always found it easy to use and it met our needs very well. During that time I only had to reach out to customer support ONCE! It works that well! It was not for an issue, but for a question on a security update, and the customer service team very quickly responded and answered the question, fixing the security with a simple update (that we needed to make previously). Thanks so much for the great product and great support!

Top-notch Customer Service, Terrific Theme

While it did take a bit of getting used to, once I got the hang of it the Sprocket Rocket theme is a great theme to really customize a website fast! There are so many modules available just on the Free version, I was able to get my website up and running. Migrating to the Core theme has set my website on fire!! There are so many module options and choices available now.

Customizing the theme can be a challenge in the beginning. Particularly those of us that are not website developers. But once the concepts and the layout of the settings are understood, it really is very simple to get set up like as desired.

So many modules to choose from that my ideas run out before running out of modules. Simple to use.

The learning curve might be a bit of a challenge. My recommendation is to book a call with their fantastic support team. Within 15 or 30 minutes, the light bulb comes on.

Outstanding Customer Service

I find the theme to be very versatile and easy to use and their customer service is ridiculously great.

Customization was a snap - very easy to add your branding in the theme editor. The modules are easy to individually customize too.

I really like the idea that I can buy modules a la carte that are only available with the top end version of the theme.

No disadvantages that I've discovered.

Great support

The theme has basic features for a website. Sometimes, there're limit stuff, but you can request for a quick fix or additional small features. If you have some issues, their support team replies really fast and helpful. They also do a follow-up after a while.

Not really easy, some modules have styling options, some don't.

It lags sometimes so remember to back-up your website with Child theme.

Flexible, fast and easy to use - with awesome support!

As a HubSpot Solutions Partner, I've worked with many HubSpot CMS themes (including both Sprocket Rocket’s Core and Pro tiers), and Sprocket Rocket Core stands out as a top choice. This modular theme has truly accelerated our website projects – we can build pages faster and with more confidence in the results. The theme is built to be lightweight and performance-optimized, so our pages load quickly and score excellently on Core Web Vitals. With over 50 modules and 16 templates included, it covers most of our clients' needs out of the box, giving me the flexibility of creating customized layouts for each client without having to dig into the code. That said, the ability to set ID and Class on as good as any module, advanced customization via CSS is not a problem. Sprocket Rocket’s thorough documentation and module library guides (available on their website) provide clear instructions whenever we have questions, and their support team is very responsive and friendly. As a matter of fact, they deliver far beyond expectations, and have taught me quite a few handy pro tip's, like the Chrome developer plugin that lets me extract complete HubL code and make my own custom templates with predefined content. Awesome!

Took a bit of testing to get to know it and understand all it's possibilities, but everything is actually very intuitive. In addition to some really powerful no-code abilities, the option to set custom ID and Class gives me more or less full flexibility.

Fast, SEO friendly, flexible, modular, well-documented, awesome support, scalable. And if some functionality or design tweak is not available, the support crew are more than willing to put in an extra effort.

Core covers a lot of what my clients need, but not everything. Having used the Pro version on a few portals, I know what Core customers are missing out on – which can sometimes be frustrating. That said, if you need one or two Pro modules, you can actually buy them individually at a really sensible price level.

I own a creative agency, and I build sites for clients. I was looking for a solution that offered more flexibility and customization than the out-of-the-box CMS that HubSpot offered, and Sprocket Rocket came to the rescue! They have a unique app that allows you to visualize your design before sending it to HubSpot CMS to customize. The advantage of this is that your not wasting time, dragging widgets onto the canvas, hoping it's the right design for your layout. Not only is their theme incredibly flexible and helpful for creative design, but their support is phenomenal. I just jumped off a call with one of their reps, Daniel, and they helped walk me through all of my resources as a new Sprocket Rocket user. 5/5 would recommend!

Extremely. Their app makes a huge difference in getting a headstart on the design you are trying to achieve. Once you bring the layout to HubSpot, the modules are extremely flexible and have many customization options. I would say this is comparable to Clean Pro, but you can produce a website at a faster pace, at the fraction of the cost on their Core theme.

The Core theme is limited in layout choices, as there is another tier that offers all the layout options in their Pro theme. It can be slightly costly with their Pro theme, and if you want more pre-built layouts, you will have to pay close to $3,000. The good thing is that it's a one-time cost. If you are building your entire website on HubSpot CMS, it may be worth it. If you are building just blogs and landing pages on HubSpot, and the rest somewhere else (like Wordpress, SquareSpace, Wix, etc), it may be worth just sticking to their Core theme.
