I've had the pleasure of working with the Direct Development team for over 12 years. I recently changed institutions and reached out to Direct Development within weeks on the new job to collaborate with them again. I know I can count on them to be responsive and to help with smart strategic planning. I can't imagine not working with them!

Great Virtual Workshop

Zach Busekrus and Tony Fraga gave a virtual workshop for our school last month on Inbound Graduate Enrollment marketing and it was fantastic. It was initially planned as an in-person workshop, but when the new distancing restrictions were implemented, they quickly pivoted to be able to offer a virtual alternative. The workshop went off flawlessly. These guys are completely at ease with the technology and the virtual experience was very high quality. Prior to the workshop, Zach and Tony took great care to learn about our institutional structure and our goals for the workshop. It is rare to find marketing consultants with their understanding of higher education, and graduate education and marketing specifically. In the thoughtfully tailored, highly engaging, and enjoyable workshop, they delivered takeaways that we could immediately implement and practical tools to create a strategic path forward. I very much look forward to partnering with them again.

I have been working with Direct Development for over a decade. They have always been innovative and on top of the latest trends. A few years ago we took a "leap of faith" to try something new when they introduced HubSpot to us. It hadn't been widely used by higher ed and we gave it a try. Their ideas and strategies were able to grow the quality of leads and identify students through organic search that may have not found us otherwise. I have been the current President of TxGAP since 2017. During my tenure as president, I have had the privilege to work alongside the talented group at Direct Development. They not only have been staunch supporters of our chapter, but have gone above and beyond to support our chapter and its members. This includes conducting various workshops and sessions at our annual summer institute, along with other professional development and engaging opportunities for our members. In addition, they have collaborated with several of our members outside of the conference on other projects and initiatives. Their keen insight and knowledge of GEM best practices for inbound marketing have not only made our members stronger, but the GEM community in the state of Texas as a whole.
