The Company Research Agent lets teams configure and personalize a research agent to deliver insights that match their team’s priorities. Instead of static, one-size-fits-all research, admins can edit the agent directly, selecting from different tools such as web search or CRM summarization, and adding custom instructions to guide how insights are generated. This flexibility ensures that research output reflects the unique needs of your team.
You can ask the agent to find specific pieces of information that your team normally researches manually. They can also preview how the agent performs against existing accounts before deploying changes. Importantly, the research results will now live as a CRM Card on the company record, ensuring insights are accessible in the flow of work, where revenue teams already operate. Each output will include sources (e.g., websites, CRM data) for transparency and trust.

Look Through Recent News
Before you jump on a call have the agent look at recent news for the company and let you know if anything relevant or important has come up. Has the CEO announced plans that are relevant to what you sell? Now you won't miss those!
Research Target Company's Website
By searching through the target company's website you will be able to find information like "what do they sell?", "who are some of their customers", and more. If your team typically goes to a company website to find specific information, let the Agent handle that for you!
Summarize the CRM Record
Summarize the company record in HubSpot. Will look for specific information if you would like, such as notes or the latest engagements, so you don't need to jump between the CRM Record and tabs and the research itself.
Search the Web
Beyond just the news, search the web and find things like customer reviews on sites like G2, blogs posting about the target company, and more. If your team typically searches for specific information online see if the Agent can find it for you! Note that it cannot search behind paywalls.
