Here’s what the integration will do for you…
* All new contacts added into Drift, from the moment you connect the integration and forward, will be automatically synced in to HubSpot's database as soon as they provide their email. If you would like to to delay this push or filter pushes for just "qualified" conversations (which you can mark in Drift), you can do that in your HubSpot Sync Settings.
* If you have contacts in HubSpot, you can have these contacts automatically recognized by Drift as well using HubSpot's cookie!
* When a conversation is closed in Drift, we sync attributes for the contact, and can also assign the HubSpot lead owner.
* We also log the Drift conversation link as an event on the HubSpot record, and can push a transcript of the conversation over as a timeline event.

Need Tighter Integration
Drift is amazing. It's a 9/10 and makes me more excited to use the HubSpot marketing automation tools than I was before implementing Drift. The issue I have is not with Drift. It's with the limited integration. I would like to, for example, integrate the Bookings tools, have an ongoing contact sync feature, etc. These tools would be SO MUCH MORE POWERFUL together than they are apart.
Conversion, outreach, content navigation, & lead capture
All of them. I love this tool.
No cons to installing Drift. The only thing that's hard is making the integration work. HubSpot has limited functionality unless we ninja our way into triggering workflows.
