Excellent WooCommerce - HubSpot integration saves time

We use WooCommerce by MakeWebBetter with HubSpot to synchronize our store and our CRM, and the experience has been excellent. The integration is reliable, well thought out and enables clear tracking of contacts, orders and customer data directly in HubSpot. This has saved us a lot of time and improved the quality of our sales and marketing follow-up. The solution is stable, powerful and perfectly suited to professional use.

Disappointed with MWB’s Approach

Overall usability: Beyond the HPOS issue, the plugin does what it promises at a basic level, but the user experience feels dated and heavy compared to other WooCommerce–CRM integrations.

What do you like?

- Quick setup, IF you don't need need HPOS (enabled by default for ALL new WooCommerce installations). - Reliable Deals and Contact information.

What do you dislike?

We tested this plugin as a HubSpot integration option for our WooCommerce store, but our experience has been frustrating. - HPOS compatibility paywall: WooCommerce officially made High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) stable and enabled by default since October 2023. It’s disappointing that MWB chose to release HPOS support only as a paid add-on (~$200/year), instead of including it in the core plugin. This feels like forcing users to pay extra for a fundamental update rather than delivering a modern standard. - Trust and transparency: This approach undermines confidence. WooCommerce powers ~40% of all online stores, and HPOS is NOT a “premium” feature - it’s REQUIRED for stability and performance. Gating it behind a paywall feels like a short-term cash grab instead of long-term value creation. - Impact on HubSpot’s reputation: Since MWB is the official HubSpot partner for WooCommerce, this decision reflects poorly not only on MWB but also on HubSpot itself. Many e-commerce businesses rely on HubSpot for marketing and CRM, and integrations should make life easier, not introduce new hidden costs.
