DoPricer CPQ automatically applies the correct price and discount to every product your sales team adds to a HubSpot Deal or Quote — without them having to look anything up.

If your business sells to different customers at different prices — trade accounts, distributors, resellers, OEM customers — DoPricer handles all of that automatically, inside HubSpot, the moment a product is added.


No more manual pricing errors

HubSpot's default pricing works well for businesses with a single price list. It doesn't work well when every customer has their own agreed rates. When sales reps look up prices manually, you get incorrect quotes, wrong discounts, time wasted before pressing send, and credit notes after the fact.

DoPricer eliminates all of this. Pricing rules are configured once, stored on each Company record in HubSpot, and applied automatically from that point on.


How it works

When a sales rep adds a product to a Deal or Quote, DoPricer detects it instantly and applies the correct price and/or discount in the background — typically within a few seconds. The rep doesn't need to do anything except press refresh to see the updated prices on screen.

DoPricer also records exactly what it did. Every line item shows which pricing rule was applied — giving managers and ops teams a complete audit trail of every pricing decision.


What Pricing Rules Can DoPricer Apply?

Discount-based pricing — apply a percentage discount to your standard HubSpot list price, at three levels:

  • Per product (SKU) — a specific discount for a specific product at a specific company

  • Per product category — a discount for an entire category (e.g. 10% off all Pumps)

  • Default discount — a blanket discount when no product or category rule matches

Custom price lists — replace the list price entirely with a customer-specific price. Ideal for trade, distributor, or OEM pricing where a completely different price structure applies. Supports multiple currencies.

Both approaches are configured per company in HubSpot and can be used independently or together.


Everything Stays Inside HubSpot

No extra tools. No switching between screens. Pricing rules live on Company records. Prices live in your Product Library. DoPricer settings are managed in HubSpot Settings.

Update custom prices in bulk via HubSpot's import/export or workflows. DoPricer also works alongside HubSpot Quotes, Quote Builder, and popular proposal tools like PandaDoc — because it updates standard HubSpot line item properties, your existing quoting workflow stays intact. Price Lock protects Quote pricing from being accidentally overwritten as reps edit and autosave.

Unique solution that meets specific needs but suffers from API timing issues and performance hiccups requiring workarounds

The API is only triggered when changes happen to the line item. So if a user adds the line items then goes back to add the company, the pricing isnt populating. We have also had some performance issues, sometimes we need to do a double refresh to get the pricing to populate

Thank you for your thoughtful review! You're right that DoPricer is unique in its ability to price line items based on the Buyer Company — and that does mean a Company must be present on the Deal when line items are added for pricing to apply correctly. For situations where the Company is added after the line items, we have a couple of options worth exploring. The "DoQuotes" private beta app — designed for several use cases including "multiple competing resellers on a single Deal" — ensures every Company on a Deal gets their unique pricing applied to their quote. That may be a good fit for your workflow. I'll reach out to discuss what works best for you. On performance: DoPricer makes 14 API calls to analyse and update each line item. HubSpot's current rate limit of 110 calls per 10 seconds means we can process 7-8 line items per second — which on larger deals can cause brief delays to process every line. We're looking forward to HubSpot raising those limits or introducing GraphQL support, which would allow us to handle multiple objects in a single call and significantly improve speed. Precise pricing logic and smooth processes inside HubSpot

We use DoPricer CPQ to manage our complex pricing directly inside HubSpot – including multiple currencies and individual customer conditions, as required in an international B2B environment. Without DoPricer, this level of detail would be extremely difficult to maintain efficiently. The system handles hundreds of line items per month and ensures that our HubSpot quotes meet the same level of pricing accuracy and control as in our ERP – but with far greater speed and flexibility. Implementation was straightforward because DoPricer works with HubSpot’s standard deal and line item objects. Our sales teams continued working as usual – the pricing logic runs automatically in the background. Over time, HubDo has become our go-to partner whenever we need additional functionality that goes beyond HubSpot’s native capabilities. They work quickly, reliably, and with a solid understanding of business-critical processes.
