Here’s what you get with Data Sync by HubSpot:
- Two-way sync: Data is shared between Bullhorn and HubSpot in real time
- Default field mappings: Set-up is quick with out-of-the-box field mappings already created for you
- Historical syncing: Your existing data will sync right away, and updates will sync as they happen
Features

Custom field mappings
Custom field mappings are available with Data Hub Starter or Professional plans. Custom mappings add the flexibility to create your own mappings or make changes to your default ones.

Sync Bullhorn and HubSpot data
Make manual data entry a thing of the past by syncing Opportunities, Candidates, Contacts, Leads and Companies between HubSpot and Bullhorn. When records are created or updated in either app, that information will be automatically shared with the other one.

Sync issues and workarounds make this integration quite manual and clunky despite some useful data transfer capabilities
Our sync often breaks and we have had to create our own workarounds to get the functionality we require. It doesn't do everything we had hoped when we first joined HubSpot
Being able to update our Bullhorn system with download activity from HubSpot, which previously sat outside of Bullhorn on spreadsheets.
We have had to download a note app to pull notes between the two platforms. I have to manually upload deals to HubSpot each month as the two platforms sync differently. We have thousands of duplicate contacts because HubSpot creates a new contact for every email address - so if we have a candidate saved on Bullhorn with one email address, and a linked contact with their hiring manager email address, it creates duplicate records in HubSpot. We have had multiple issues where Bullhorn data has been updated by the sync which has messed up billing contacts and processes because data has changed that we werent aware of. Overall fairly clunky and we haven't got our sync to work in the most efficient way.

This is a core function to communicate between recruitment officers and managers between Bullhorn and HubSpot. Notes for contact, company, or deal will not map over properly.
