I had a fairly drawn-out experience of trying to implement a CRM.....previously Salesforce (>10 years ago), then HubSpot. I was struggling to find an approach that closely mirrored our existing (Outlook) workflows, or could add value by integrating with our ERP, and had gone through a couple of consultants already. Centralise suggested a move to Service/Helpdesk rather than Sales, which was something I was not familiar with. Holding the teams hand through design, initial build and onboarding we have eventually arrived at an approach that works for us.....still plenty more to do, but we made it at last with their help !
