We had an overall positive experience working with A8, particularly with Josh and Suzanne. They were especially helpful in tackling some of the more complex challenges in our system and played a key role in cleaning up areas that had become messy due to our initial rapid implementation. Their technical capabilities and willingness to dig into difficult issues made a noticeable difference. That said, there were a few instances where it felt like our specific use case wasn’t fully understood, even after we had walked through it together. This occasionally led to some back-and-forth that could have been avoided with deeper alignment upfront. Overall, Josh and Suzanne delivered solid results and added real value, particularly on the technical side. With a bit more focus on fully grasping client context and requirements early on, the experience could be even stronger.
Working with the Aptitude 8 team was a phenomenal experience. The Aptitude 8 team (Jen, Tom, and Matt) led a seven-month implementation for us involving a custom integration between HubSpot CRM and Bullhorn ATS. The project required reconfiguring and upgrading a legacy HubSpot marketing instance into a full CRM while managing complex data mapping and workflow integrations with Bullhorn. It was not simple — and they handled it exceptionally well. Their communication was clear and consistent. They were flexible as our requirements evolved, transparent in their approach, and extremely strong with technical documentation.
