Makes me document and make videos more often

Fantastic overall tool. It makes creating videos especially How To's simply and efficient. I even use it in place of emails to describe problems to co workers because it is more clean than taking screenshots. I can walk through the problem and talk about what we are dealing with. Huge advantage.

Simplicity of use. Always ready. Allows edit features.

The trim tool can be a little confusing.

Capable but Not 100% Yet

Vidyard has really changed the way that we communicate with customers in a positive way. Our digital world requires constant stimulation, and videos are now the #1 medium customers interact with online in all forms of media. This is advancing us and keeping customers more engaged, while building trust because we are showing our faces more to our customers.

Seeing how many times a video has been watched and to what extend. This helps us track what duration converts best. We are also experimenting how different topics affect open rates.

Vidyard is incorrectly tracking exactly who is watching our videos. It will show customers watching videos they do not have access to, when in reality the viewer is an internal employee. This is creating dirty data, and Vidyard has not found a solution yet. The Ai avatars are also not perfect. We have had a difficult time tweaking them so they are somewhat realistic. For this reason, we do not use them most of the time.
