HubSpot integration costs extra and the UI is difficult to use and disappointing, support is helpful but it would be better to use it separately.

The HubSpot side dialing UI is very confusing and difficult to use. It would be better to use them separately.

What do you like?

Dialpad's support team was very helpful.

What do you dislike?

I use HubSpot and would like to make a call from the HubSpot side, but there is an additional cost on both sides for the integration. Even if I set up the linkage, when I make a call from HubSpot side, multiple Dialpad screens are launched, and I can't tell which screen I need to activate. Even after the call is finished, the activity activity on the HubSpot side is not automatically rewritten, so the browser needs to be refreshed. The difference between what we expected and what is possible is too big, so we do not recommend using this system in conjunction with HubSpot.

Doesn't seem to be built for support teams.

Current state - not working for us, and having to use work arounds for tickets due to timing of the ticket creation.

What do you dislike?

Compared to all other phone and crm integrations I have used over the years (many) this is the first time I have seen an integration where tickets don't auto generate at the start of the call, nor insert any information into the body of ticket where a team member takes internal notes and communicates/follows up with a customer.

Hi Justin, I am Nihar from Dialpad's product team. I remember the discussion we had. As I mentioned earlier, our focus was on supporting 'Sales' use case. However, now that we have released the new integration, we are shifting our focus to 'Support'. In late September, we will support calling from 'Help Desk', and we are working closely with HubSpot on this. Dialpad will be one of the select partners to support native calling from 'Help Desk', and ticket creation and assignment to the right agent will be handled during the launch. I am reaching out via email to provide more details.
