Started Great But Audio Issues After HubSpot Integration Make Half My Calls Unusable

At first all calls were accurate and dialed well. Once I downloaded HubSpot there have been errors. I do not have any audio on 50% of my calls.

Thanks for sharing this, and I’m really sorry that audio issues are affecting so many of your calls after connecting HubSpot. This isn’t expected behavior, and we’d like to investigate your specific setup so we can fix it. Please email hubspot@dialpad.com with your HubSpot workspace ID, Dialpad account email, and a few recent example calls (date/time and whether audio was missing for you, the other party, or both), and we’ll work with our support and engineering teams to resolve this as a priority.

Recent integration update ruined auto-logging functionality, making cold call management a manual nightmare

Used to work great, then dialpad updated the integration recently and it's terrible. We'll be switching. Dialpad used to auto-log calls to HubSpot. Now, when making calls, dialpad will no longer auto-log calls. I reached out to support and they affirmed to me that it was a design decision and only calls associated with tickets will be auto-logged - or calls that are associated with an already-existing contact. We make a lot of cold calls and now we have a ton of work to do to log calls manually. Dialpad support iterated to me that this would be the way it works going forward.

Thank you for sharing this feedback and I’m sorry the recent integration changes have disrupted your cold calling workflow. You’re right that we previously changed behavior so that calls were only logged when associated with an existing contact or ticket—this was because the earlier version often created duplicate contacts in HubSpot, which many customers found frustrating. A few months ago, we started logging calls even when there isn’t a matching contact, and in an upcoming build you’ll also be able to configure when Dialpad should automatically create a new contact. If you can email your HubSpot workspace ID and Dialpad account email to hubspot@dialpad.com, we’ll investigate your account and provide a few concrete options to fix call logging and make the experience much better for your team.
